Did you know that our Kenyan Digitruck is making great impact?
Launched in October 2019 in partnership with Huawei Tech4ALL program as the funding partner and Computers for Schools Kenya(CFSK)as the training partner, the Digitruck is  on a mission to empower youth and women in rural and marginalised communities in Kenya with digital literacy skills, e-waste management and entrepreneurship training, while at the same time providing a platform for them  to be trained on online job opportunities, through the Ajira Digital platform. This initiative that runs in collaboration with both the national and county government as well as local organisations in the host counties has so far empowered and graduated over 2,500 beneficiaries.

  • 17 counties (Nairobi, Mombasa, Machakos, Nyeri, Laikipia, Bomet, Kericho, Nandi, Kitui, Makueni, Samburu, Isiolo, Siaya, Homabay, Tana River and Kilifi) reached with trainings between Oct 2019 and April 2022
  • 2533 beneficiaries trained on basic ICT, E-waste management, entrepreneurship, and online job opportunities
  • Enhanced collaboration with national, county government and local stakeholders across the 17 counties
